With the new CLC policy changes, how will that affect commuter ops? We don't have a line-up to give the hotels like freight. We may rate a hotel room and not use it. Is there a manual or FAQ that answers these questions?

As soon as we get compensated sick days, they penalize us more for uncompensated. Go figure.

Wondering what the next step is, did we have a cooling off period AGAIN? Do we strike? Do we negotiate and continue the status que? Any facts would be greatly appreciated.

Several major things stick out to me about PEB 250 recommendations as currently written. 1) the $1000 service bonus payments in lieu of an actual percentage increase. - I would prefer that the .9 % GWI equivalent be added instead. 2) healthcare cap of 15% being removed - a new cap should be set if it has to be removed. 3) additional paid holiday provides NO benefit to me personally. 4) carrier withdrawing crew consist is HUGE. 5) The fact the carrier takes all the credit for thier record profits and gives zero credit to the people who made it happen says all I ever needed to know about our current leadership. What sticks out to you?

Every single contract is drug out over years of negotiations, cooling off periods, meetings and meanwhile, all of the union representatives get paid full wages. Where are my wage increases? How many times has my dues gone up? How many times have my collectives wages/benefits gone down while the cost of living continues to rise? I only have 1 real question... What are my Beck Rights rights? "the obligation of private sector unions properly to notify the employees they represent of their rights not to pay full union dues. Such notice is most frequently referred to as a “Beck notice,” named after the 1988 Supreme Court decision in CWA v. Beck, 487 U.S. 735.Mar 12, 2019 If the unions want to play with my money for years on end, I say it's time to play with the unions money. It's time we as members EDUCATE ourselves.

With the STB putting out their opinion on railroads being a major contributor to the "supply line crisis", what if anything, can they actually do to change the railroads behaviors?

"After reviewing the Georgia District Court’s Dec. 7 ruling, Union Pacific is still encouraging employees to report their vaccination status by close of business today, Dec. 8, and get vaccinated. Given the legal uncertainty caused by this one ruling, UP is complying with the temporary suspension of the federal contractor vaccine mandate. As various cases navigate through the courts, UP will continue evaluating all developments and keep employees updated...." Excerpt from UPOnline
